Wow. That's why I didn't see people with umbrellas." (huh?!)

Reportedly the two artists may have a mutual respect for each other and according to Weezy’s 50 is out of his league saying some time last year, "I ain't f---ing with 50. He's too high up there…. Gospel Singer BeBe Winans Arrested for Domestic Abuse

Another day, another one bites the dust. Gospel singer BeBe Winans was arrested for allegedly pushing his ex-wife to the ground during an argument last month. Reportedly BeBe was at his ex-wife’s home to pick up his children when he got into a “verbal altercation” pertaining to custody issues (never a fun topic), he got irate and pushed her to the ground.

This happened approximately one month ago, I guess the wife mustered up the will to report the abuse since this has week has become a default “women against abuse” week. Good for her – I guess. I wonder what Oprah has to say about this?

Every black female celebrity who has ever suffered some degree of abuse or loathe the idea of a woman being abused is coming out with something to help promote their new projects against it.

Mya who has been lost in the dark for sometime recently did an interview about a song called “Blackout” of her upcoming album. Here is a snippet of the interview:

What inspired you?

I was inspired by two different incidents involving two of my female friends. I remember being disgusted, angry, outraged, sad, sympathetic, and fearful of what I would’ve done if I were in their shoes. I’m still pissed from it and even more pissed that they are back with these guys. But those are my girls and I love ‘em for life. I just seriously hope there’s not a next time.

What did you think when you first heard of the Chris and Rihanna situation?

I honestly didn’t believe it when I first heard of the situation. I assumed it was another outrageous, untrue rumor from an illegitimate gossip site.

Did you immediately want to drop your track?

I have so many songs I’ve written [that] it didn’t even come to mind until I played a bunch of my music at a listening session and everyone responded to “Black Out” in particular. After the incident I had my management contact Rihanna’s team about giving her the song. I’m sure it’s still a sensitive time for her to address the issue at all.

Do you think some people will think you’re jumping on the bandwagon to get press for the new album?

I’m sure some people will think a bunch of nonsense as they always do… [It] comes with the territory. This is much bigger than me or an album. It’s about a silent epidemic that affects one in three women in the world. I just happen to be one of the many concerned voices.

Say what you want Mya, it sounds mighty suspect. I have never seen this many black women band together on any other issues. No matter that no one is really trying to get to the root of why women stand for abuse or why men abuse women. No matter that videos are filled with young women exploiting themselves on a daily, no matter that women are settling left and right for knucklehead dudes – and oops getting pregnant – and oops she’s a single mother.

I may get bashed for this, but we have more pressing issues facing black women in particular that would help them not be OK with abuse in any of its form - and manage NOT to bash the brothers while doing it.

Chris Brown is Firing His Team and Looking for a New Image

In a race to save what is left of his image, Chris Brown is set to fire his whole camp...I mean these are the peeps who know all the dirt he has done in the last couple of years.

"Brown is "looking for a whole new team" to replace his current crew, "starting with his manager, Tina Davis," said our source. Davis was cited as the "other woman" who sent texts to Brown the night before the Grammys, causing the fight in the Lamborghini. Police reports stated Brown had a "previous sexual relationship" with Davis, who's managed him since he was 16. Davis blasted "rumors" of any texts or sex, saying she and Brown were strictly "manager and client."

With the way things have been going for him, this was actually the smartest thing he has done so far. Hopefully fans will accept the idea of "a new team, means a new image."

Anyway – Diddy went on Ellen to continue to his self promotion tour this time about his Twitter.com project when Ellen jumped right to lambasting him for showing sympathy to an accused woman beater saying, "Why would you do that? Why would you give Chris - a guy who hit a girl... I don't understand."

In response Diddy said,

"I know both of them, it's my house and I'm allowed to give my house to whoever I want to give my house to. I'm the type of person that I don't cast a stone or cast a judgment on anybody, so if a friend or friends ask me for a favour, then I'm gonna be there for a favour, as long as I know that the energy of the favour is positive." "I'm not gonna get involved in it, (letting someone come stay at your hose is kinda getting involved) I'm not gonna pass judgment on it. If I can be there as a friend during hard times, then I'm gonna be there as a friend. I don't know the exact particulars... It's a dark time for them and I was there more as a supporter, that was it."

Just when we were getting over The Chrihanna Saga, a wonderfully delicious scandal has dropped that makes blogging about this "Umm, Umm, Good!

Word out is that Chris Brown's manager Tina Davis, who turns 40 this month, was rumored to be the "other woman" and has been dealing with Chris since he was 16.

"The Los Angeles Police Department detective's affidavit refers to the three-page text message as being "from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with." Police say that after reading the message, Rihanna slapped and hit Brown before he fired back. The singer has released a statement denying the whole thing, dropping the usual token phrases when these kind of rumors arise. He says, “Chris Brown and his manager Tina Davis have a strictly professional relationship,” the statement reads. “Ms. Davis has been instrumental in helping Chris achieve success as a multi-talented singer/dancer/actor. Rumors that the relationship goes beyond a working one are not only patently false, they diminish her efforts and his undeniable talents.”

Many seemed to enjoy Lil Kim on Dancing With the Stars the other night, but interestingly no one commented on the fact that Lil Kim has gone Michael Jackson on us! A few days ago she had a juicy interview going until...they made the deadly mistake of asking Big Mama about her plastic surgery. Here are some excerpts:

Do you have any thoughts on Remy Ma now that she is in jail?

No, I don’t even think we need to bring her into this conversation. I wish her the best. When I was locked up she kicked me when I was down, but I won’t do that to her. You know what I mean? Because I’ve been there and I know how it feels to be locked up. To be honest with you, my condolences and my heart goes out to her, but at the end of the day she’s not my friend. I’m just making a point I won’t do what somebody else did to me. When I was locked up she kicked me, but I wouldn’t kick her. I don’t do that because I’m a real person. I won’t do that.

So at this point in the interview, you would think that Lil Kim is just ready to be raw and tell it like it is right? Here's where things go left.

Let me ask you this Kim, this is a big question that we get from everybody and you can decide if you don’t want to answer it or not. There is a perception in the African-American community that Lil’ Kim didn’t like the way she looked as a Black woman so she got plastic surgery to make herself look less Black.

Geno Hayes is Stabbed Twice by His Girlfriend

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Geno Hayes' and his 19-year-old girlfriend Shevelly Bagley got into an argument, probably over the usual-(some NFL "cheating") and the fight ended in two stab wounds.

"Deputies arrested 19-year-old Shevelle Bagley at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Carter said. Bagley was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. The incident began with an argument Saturday, and Bagley grabbed a pair of scissors, stabbing Hayes and causing a superficial wound to Hayes' head, Carter said. Hayes got the scissors away from Bagley. Then Bagley "grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the neck," Carter said."

Sheree Whitfield has reportedly not paid her lawyer since May 2006 for services rendered during her lengthy divorce battle. And her nice total being asked by her former attorney is $90,000. Keep in mind this is the same lawyer that was “helping” Sheree get her multi-million dollar payoff!

I can imagine that Sheree is not paying because she’s punishing her lawyer for only getting one million when Sheree thought she would have gotten $10 and not to mention the embarrassment that comes with that! And supposedly the law firm can’t track Sheree down?!! What – don’t they know where she leaves – oh wait – she was evicted from her home…

This is all just a shame, I bet she just hired a publicist to deflect all this “mad” press who she likely won’t pay either…this is not a good look for Sheree….or the show.

Reportedly label insiders has said, "If Wayne doesn't brighten up, they have to turn into Mr. Evil Record Company and just tell him it's never going to be released."I think it’s just bad timing on Weezy’s part, it’s hard to convince a money-making record label to sacrifice loosing money after you sold over 1million albums in one week for experimental sake! Lil Wayne may have to release this one independently.

Eddie Murphy might be hatching some Oscar buzz in the near future with his new role of portraying the legendary late comedian, Richard Pryor.The project to be called, “Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said?” will be directed by the Dreamgirls director! When you consider Pryor’s career highs and lows, including his well-publicized battles with alcohol and drug addiction and his struggle with multiple sclerosis this should be a good meaty role for Eddie Murphy to dig into.So long as Murphy doesn’t have another “Meet Dave”-esque movie on the horizon, the next few years is looking pretty good. No filming date has been set.

A court ordered and Russell agreed to $20,000 per month for each per child totaling $40k per month) until they’re 19, he will supply them with a car worth no less than $60k and replaced every 3 years until they’re 16, and they must have a nanny and a security guard with them at all times when they’re visiting Daddy.Who started this trend of supervised child visits? If Russell isn’t an accused or convicted molester, is a security guard really necessary?! I’m confused how these men allow things to get to that level, yet both Russell and Kimora are steady bragging about how great of parent the other is? I am A-OK with the high child support payments if the man’s wealth allows it but to say I can’t freely see my children after paying that much is ludicrous! Is that taking too far?
